Our Philanthropy
Every day, we talk about engagement here — how institutions build relationships that last and how people move from passive participants to active contributors. And we’re going to both walk-the-walk and talk-the-talk.
That’s why a portion of all paid memberships each quarter will go to support QuestBridge.
QuestBridge connects high-achieving, low-income students with some of the top colleges and universities in the country. More importantly, Questbridge doesn’t stop at access. Their model is built around long-term success — from the college match process through graduation and into a growing alumni network of scholars who are building careers, giving back, and creating opportunity for others.
This matters for a few reasons.
First, it reinforces a core belief behind this platform: if we’re serious about building lifelong communities — alumni networks, donor bases, professional ecosystems — we have to care about who gets invited in, and who has the support to stay.
Second, it aligns directly with the work many of you are doing every day. Advancement leaders, nonprofit executives, and community builders are all thinking about pipeline, not just in terms of fundraising, but in terms of participation, belonging, and long-term impact. QuestBridge is doing that work at one of the most important entry points.
Supporting QuestBridge is a small but intentional way to connect the ideas we explore here with real-world outcomes. If Speaking Engagement is a “conference on engagement that never sleeps,” this is one way we make sure that conference stays open to more people over time.
We look forward to supporting QuestBridge as part of our work here on Speaking Engagement.
Sincerely,
